You did well.
Every day is full of so much, and so little. We move, we eat, we pray, and maybe we learn something, or lie in the kiddie pool, or plant seeds in the ground.
I have been hard on myself for most of my life, but these days I am learning to look back at the day with kind eyes, no matter the things left undone or the bumps and jolts.
“You did well.” I hope you can feel it too. I hope you can look at today with kind eyes.

Just a reminder that I am still writing poetry for each day at Patreon, where you can become a patron of the arts by supporting me for a dollar a month or more. It has been such a beautiful thing to write poems every day, and I would love for you to read them too. I’m planning to continue this project for a year! Sign up at Patreon.
