Love in the New Year

For the past couple of years we have done a talking circle during our Christmas Party. People introduce themselves, tell where they're from, and share something about themselves. While we share, we pass the light, each lighting a candle from the flame of the candle before. It's sweet, and beautiful.

My friend took this photo of Kid A lighting YaYa's candle. I love the photo almost as much as I loved the moment, which is just a drip drop of how much I love them.

We are entering the New Year with love. It is enough.

"Hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."  Romans 5:5

I pray that you walk into the New Year with your face open and shining. With love. I pray that it is enough.
