Lump Again
We got the strangest news back from the laboratories who have been testing the lump that was removed from my neck. Remember how Chinua and I were joking that maybe it was my long-lost twin? Well, the pathologists were puzzled over what exactly the lump was, and ended up sending it across the country to a lab on a military base in Pennsylvania. They came to the conclusion that I really did have a twin, which didn't survive, and somehow in utero became attached to my thyroid.
I'm not sure whether to laugh or feel sad. The pathologist I talked to was positive, saying that this is more common than we may know. I still feel a little strange, though.
