It was a good day.

It was a good day.

I started early and edited my book.

I wrote down the week’s work for the boys. I helped Isaac with his math. He told me about capybaras. I tidied and wrote lists and dreamed.

I picked salad from the garden and made dinner. I went for a walk and then we ate and I got a few more things done.

It was just good, after a fair amount of anxiety over the past weeks.

When I walked back up to the house in the dark, Chinua called me over to look at Saturn’s rings through our telescope, which is not a real telescope, but a scope made for watching birds.

I gasped when I saw the rings. Saturn is right there, you guys. Right there.
